LITTLE HOUSE BIG IDEA

Brand Guidelines & Layout

CLIENT

A boutique Design Agency called Little House Big Idea found themselves too busy with client work to create official in-house brand guidelines. They had a functional brand already with a logo, colors, fonts, established voice and icons.

PROJECT GOALS

They needed help with creating an official brand guidelines deck to outline their brand elements and how to use them consistently as they grow.

SOLUTION

I was provided with a table of contents, established brand assets including logos, icons, and fonts. I studied their instagram posts, website and internal documents to gauge their voice and how their aesthetic was being created. I looked at how the brand elements were being used “in the wild” to define rules for using these elements going forward. On-brand page layouts were designed to communicate the story and visual language of Little House Big Idea. Selected pages from the brand guidelines are shown below, featuring layouts and copy that I contributed. The logo and icons were created by Little House.
